Is delivery and setup included in the price?

Yes! All rentals include professional delivery, setup, and pickup at no extra charge anywhere in Orange County. Our trained team arrives before your event to set up and returns after your event ends to take everything down. You don't need to do anything — just enjoy the party.

What if it rains on my event day?

We offer free rescheduling for weather-related cancellations. If rain, high winds, or unsafe conditions are forecast for your event, contact us as soon as possible and we'll find a new date that works at no additional cost. For safety, inflatables cannot be used in sustained winds exceeding 15 mph.

Are your inflatables safe and clean?

Every rental is thoroughly cleaned, sanitized, and inspected before each delivery. All of our inflatables are made from commercial-grade, lead-free vinyl. We are fully insured with comprehensive general liability coverage and PTA approved, making us certified vendors for schools, churches, and community organizations throughout Orange County.

What surfaces can inflatables be set up on?

Inflatables can be set up on grass, concrete, or asphalt. On grass, we use stakes to secure the unit. On hard surfaces like driveways or parking lots, we use sandbags. Each inflatable needs a flat, ground-level area with at least 3 feet of clearance on all sides. The setup area must be accessible without stairs — inflatables are very heavy and stairs to the venue may prevent delivery.

Do I need access to electricity?

Yes, inflatables require continuous airflow from a blower plugged into a standard 110v household outlet. We provide all necessary extension cords for outlets up to 100 feet from the setup location. If no electrical outlet is available, you must use one of our generators ($120 rental fee, includes a full tank of gas). For insurance purposes, all electrical equipment — extension cords and generators — must be provided by us.

How long is the rental period?

We charge a flat fee per day for rentals, typically covering 4-8 hours. The price is the same whether your event is 4 hours or 8 — we deliver and set up before your guests arrive and pick up by 6pm. Need to keep a rental overnight? For just 5% of the rental fee — instead of paying for a full extra day — we'll collect it the next morning between 7-9am.

Do water slides have special requirements?

Yes, water slides require access to a water faucet within 50 feet of the setup area. We provide a 50-foot hose with every water slide rental. Water slides can also be used dry in cooler weather — they work great as regular slides too. All other standard requirements apply — flat ground-level surface, electrical access, and adequate clearance around the unit.

I've never rented a bounce house before — what do I need to know?

We make it easy! Here's a quick checklist: have a flat, ground-level area with enough space for the unit plus 3 feet on each side. Make sure there's an electrical outlet within 100 feet (we bring the extension cords) or let us know and we'll include a generator. For water slides, you'll need a water faucet within 50 feet — we provide the hose. Remove shoes before jumping, keep food and drinks outside the inflatable, and have an adult supervising at all times. We handle all the delivery, setup, and teardown — your only job is to have fun!

What is your payment and cancellation policy?

A 25% deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation. The remaining balance is due before your event date. We offer free rescheduling for weather-related cancellations. Full cancellation and refund details are outlined in your rental contract.

What is the best bounce house for a 5 year old birthday party?

For a 5 year old's birthday party, a standard enclosed bounce house is the best choice. It's safe, the right size for younger children, and keeps them contained while they play. If you want extra fun, a combo unit with a small slide lets kids bounce and slide in one inflatable. We recommend avoiding water slides and large obstacle courses for this age group. Browse our catalog to see age recommendations for each unit, or call us at (626) 600-2686 and we'll help you pick the perfect one.

How much does it cost to rent a bounce house in Orange County?

Bounce house rentals in Orange County start at $150 for a full-day rental (up to 8 hours), which includes delivery, professional setup, and pickup. Combo units with slides typically range from $200-$350, and water slides from $250-$400. Tables, chairs, and concession machines are available as add-ons. There are no hidden fees — the price you see includes everything. Visit our catalog at bounceandco.com/products for exact pricing on every item.

Do I need a permit to have a bounce house in my backyard?

No, you generally do not need a permit for a bounce house in your own backyard in Orange County. However, if you're setting up in a public park, school, church, or community center, you may need a special event permit from the city or venue. Some HOAs also have rules about inflatables — check with your HOA if applicable. If you're setting up at a public venue and need a certificate of insurance (COI), we can provide one upon request at no charge.

Can I rent a bounce house for a school carnival or church event?

Yes! We are PTA certified and fully insured, making us approved vendors for schools, churches, and community organizations throughout Orange County. We can provide a certificate of insurance (COI) to your school or venue upon request. We've done hundreds of school carnivals, church festivals, and community events. Our obstacle courses and combo units are especially popular for larger events with many kids.

What is the cheapest way to rent a bounce house?

The most affordable option is a standard bounce house starting at $150 for a full day (up to 8 hours), including delivery, setup, and pickup anywhere in Orange County. To get the best value: book early (last-minute bookings have limited selection), consider weekday events when demand is lower, and bundle items together — adding tables and chairs to a bounce house rental is more cost-effective than renting from multiple vendors.

Are bounce houses safe for toddlers?

Bounce houses can be safe for toddlers (ages 3 and up) with proper supervision. Children must be at least 3 years old to use any inflatable. For toddler safety: always have an adult watching, limit the number of children inside at one time, separate toddlers from older kids who bounce more aggressively, and choose a standard enclosed bounce house rather than open slides or obstacle courses. Our team reviews all safety guidelines with you during setup.

What happens if the bounce house deflates during my event?

Inflatables require continuous airflow from a blower, so if the blower gets unplugged or a breaker trips, the unit will slowly deflate — this is normal and not dangerous. Have all riders exit the unit, check that the blower is plugged in and the outlet is working, and it will re-inflate within minutes. If you can't resolve it, call us immediately at (626) 600-2686 and we'll troubleshoot over the phone or send someone out as fast as possible.

“Didn't have to look any further than my first choice of bounce house rental. Itsik and his crew were efficient, on time, friendly, reliable and very communicative with my rents with them. Definitely worth it and will rent again in the future. Thank you guys for making it a breeze and easy process and coming out on Easter Sunday for me. Brand new dual bounce house with slides wet/dry optional.”

“Bounce and Co. was incredible to work with. As a FIT4MOM owner serving moms and young children, communication, reliability, and safety are extremely important to me, and they exceeded expectations in all of those areas. Their communication was clear, timely, and professional from start to finish, which made everything feel seamless. They were organized, dependable, and everything was set up smoothly and on time. You can tell they truly care about the experience they provide and operate with a high level of professionalism. I would absolutely recommend them to any family or business looking for a trustworthy and well-run company.”
